Preferred size for a Premier League

I see that the SPFL (Premier branch) is looking to expand the league from 12 to a higher amount. (I think this will be fast tracked if a certain Govan club do not attain promotion by merit)

What are your thoughts on this? What would your preferred size of league be?

the only people who have muted this are the "journos" at the daily record.

even when the spfl refuted their claims they just misquoted them to make it sound as they had considered the plans

a case of some newco fan trying to get public pressure on the spfl board to haste their promotion.

they have said repeatedly they are locked into a deal to have the current set up till at least the end of next season

it looks unlikely that sevco will gain promotion on merit alone though.

keep it how it is at the moment i say....they bent over backwards to aid their hasty promotion already with the new set up so it would be ridiculous to alter it again simply because they are not performing

I think it's shocking that the SFPL should choose this time to moot expanding the league to include teams which did not either play-off in the Championship League for a deserved spot or win the title outright weeks before the end of the season, whilst having the most wonderful woman in the world as chairperson ! (Hail - Queen of Hearts !!)

makes a guard of honour for this post!

but seriously as an Albion Rovers fan (Aye I am the one) I wanted Motherwell to lose the playoff to Hibs, but if it was Rangers I would rather the Well stayed up!

I think, that the Rangers are this year better, than last year.
