when we go with the english on a football pitch, there is no love for each other. Outside of the pitch we might drink a few beers together ...

That's because of Nazi Germany and Hitler.

I agree. Look, Croi Sasanach, Joachim was only saying that, while the football is happening, hah, everybody shouts for their own team (and probably sings rude songs about the other one ) , BUT, as Joa said, after the game, everyone can have a beer together and say "oh, well then, but we'll win next time... " Beery friendships made, jokes exchanged .... And so on.

I do think, Croi Sasanach, that you may have misread the tone of Joachim's post. Tiny misunderstanding, that's all.

Shake hands and be pals then, guys, eh?

(I had to go back and check my typing there, because I was worried that I had suggested that all these football supporters should have a "bear". Oh dear me no, not good news for the poor bear. Mind, you seeing as I'm always learning that football supporters are not all the scary thugs that I tend to imagine they are , then the bear would probably end up not being cooked and eaten but being kept as a big happy pet with free food for life. ) And probably Babz (great cook) would sort this out.

Celyn,
There is NO MISUNDERSTANDING. He called my nation Nazi Germany and Hitler. In the future I will not tolerate that in " my Forum".
XXXXXXX
Croi Sasenach consider this as your first and last warning. Just, that there is no misunderstanding at all!

for your reminder:
