I think having the final in Moscow is a bit of a joke. Not only are there insufficient hotels to accomodate all of the fans the prices are extortionate. It will cost a few thousand pounds for any fan who wants to support their team in the final.

I agree.

There was a debate a couple of years ago i remember that they should choose the location after the semis (or atleast choose from a pool of previously selected locations) so that air miles and inturn pollution would be somewhat reduced.

It's daft to have it in Russia for two English teams.

Aye but Andy, they start selling tickets for this game after like the 2nd round. I know folks that go to most UEFA cup finals because they like bug games, regardless of who is playing. The thing that I would be wary of if I was a football fan is getting my VISA on time!

Agreed, but that would mean that the big leagues would just share the finals between them and wouldn't be neutral.
