It was definitely a dodgy decision but to be fair the disallowed Italian goal should have stood so it evened itself out.

And our disallowed penalty when the defender handled in the box?

A draw would have been a fair result, and the Italians had pretty much settled for it when they were suddenly given a chance that they took...

I just think it makes us look bad when we are reduced to making the referee a scapegoat for the fact that we just weren't good enough- the referee wasn't responsible for the Italians scoring after a minute and it was that that nailed Scotland's chances of pulling off a shock result.
