Though I must confess that if someone had said we'd be top of this group 9 games in, before we'd started, I would have asked for a couple of pints of whatever they had been drinking...

I suppose it would not be popular to say "oh, whatever, it's only a game"?

Ah, yes, I'll get my coat then. But, really so how near is Scotland to being in a good place here, and how near to falling out all together? I tried Googling but it was all too confusing.

So many people are backing Scotland to win tomorrow that the bookies are giving unrealistic odds for Ukraine. I've seen 11/4 being offered which is surely generous for a team that made it to the last eight in the World cup only last year. I just can't bring myself to bet against Scotland though.
