Celtic / Manchester united ?

Whats the connection and why ? Manchester united fans support Celtic and vice versa. Where does this alliance come from ?

Both teams are very popular in Ireland and amongst the Irish population in the USA.

i think you will find that this is another myth made up by celtic fans who crave love from anyone. there is traditionaly equal support of rangers and celtic from manu/pool fans, just ask them. manchester and liverpool have similar divisions in their city to glasgow, though more pronounced in glasgow. there is a large rangers support in eire in the protestant community and rangers supporters clubs but we are not to know that, it is a sectert.

when celtic fans lie, they lie a lot and end up believing them, they have more 'special relationships' than a house of commons rent boy.

Lads I've lived in Manchester since I was thirteen. Most of the united fans I know also support Celtic. I was just wondering why ? So you're saying its a catholic thing ?
I dont know many scousers.
