Hertz - laughing stock of Scottish fitba'
Is the next guy going to be the sixth manager under Romanov??!?!
http://www.heartsfc.premiumtv.co.uk/...805570,00.html Heart of Midlothian*Football Club*(Hearts) announced that head coach Graham Rix's contract with the club has been terminated with immediate effect today, (Tuesday 22 March 2006). Chairman Roman Romanov said: "We have been disappointed with the performance of the team. Results were not what they should have been. "We also felt that some of the signings made in January were not appropriate for Hearts. "In addition, the events which occurred in February when Hearts played Dundee United, including the way in which some information reached the public domain, were disappointing to us. "I'd like to thank Graham Rix for all his hard work at Hearts. He gave 100%, but ultimately it did not work out. Vladimir Romanov and the club's management felt that something had to be done quickly. We owed it to the fans." Valdas Ivanauskas has been appointed interim first team coach until the end of the season, and he will be assisted by John McGlynn.

I don't like to gloat at Heart's misfortune (honest
) but anything that hinders their chances of doing Rangers out a Champions league spot is good news. Scotland only gets two Champions league spots and at least Rangers would have a chance of progressing given their European experience.
