No Hertia, I'm afraid I have never even tried it. I do recall, though, that, as a child, I was *really* upset that Ailsa Craig might get all cut out and worn away because of curling. Terrible worry! But of course it is still there.

And, Leecian, stop your spamming please. Just pack it in, eh? Go forth and please don't multiply.

Really, why do you want to spam this person's reasonable comment about curling with your completely irrelevant rubbish about a place that says it

You have just made sure that here is one passing traveller it won't be having. So in terms of revenue raising, you are a bit of a reverse, or backwards, little spammer. Or just a bit backwards.

Hertia, welcome to Scotland.com, and please don't let this spam person put you off.

Joachim, yes, not too much curling in Texas, I suppose. And you don't even have your favourite football team either. Oh sad! Or perhaps by "Houston" you mean that you and family have moved to Scotland?

O the fun! OK, I have only just now noticed that this was a bit of a zombie thread until Leecian came into to it for a quick bit of spamming, but now I am amused to see that the damn blasted advert spam links have linked the word “Scotland” in my post above to a wee link about “holiday cottages throughout England and Wales”. Oh, what do to do? I can only laugh. How ludicrous will this get?
