Thumbs up Tartan Army - simply the best

Recently, I was in Zagreb for Croatia vs Scotland football match and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere created by the Tartan Army those days.

Even the Mayor of Zagreb wrote a letter to SFA to thank for that. Find out more both with articles and photos at http://come.to/albagubrath

Why? Doesn't matter but - Tartan Army is simply the best!

cheers,

M

Lets face it - the only people who like the English are English.
I think they still have delusions of grandeur, having once had an empire, the peoples of which they treated like scum and are now reaping the benefit of the same treatment themselves.

Cool

Just a quick point about Scottish Football:
The English like to say that the Scottish league is "a two team league" (Celtic & Rangers) I just want to point out that it would be fair to say that in recent years the English Premiership has been a ONE team league ie. Man.U.

Hi , I think the behaviour of Scots fans have a lot do do with the Scottish nature despite the fact that we are always portrayed as mean drunks in programmes like The Bill ands Casuality.

It also has a lot to do with the SFA's rules and regulations and the Scottish laws brought in in 1995 which means that any one taking alcohol into a ground, or is under the influence and enters the ground is breaking the law. I think alcohol fuels violance and removing it as far as possible has helped reduce the level of violance in and around Scottish grounds. The police and stewards can and do remove drunks, trouble makers and people using abusive language. THis makes for a much better atmosphere at matches and this has been carried abroad with our very orgainised Travel Club.

P.S. Did anyone notice the security liaison stewards provided by the SFA at the World Cup in France. These guys were Scottish and worked with us fans, the French stewards and police. (The police were like a riot squad, very scary).
