I know how you feel about the Stanley Cup.

A real disappointment here when Dallas lost to New Jersey. But I've got to admit that New Jersey is a real class act. They played like we did.....tried to kill us.

Hopefully, the rest of the world noticed the class act that the Dallas fans performed when they remained in their seats after the loss and cheered the New Jersey Devils for winning the cup. Not one fan left...they all stayed and applauded the Devils.

Not so in 1999 when Dallas won the cup in Buffalo. No one stayed. Dallas was on the ice alone with only each other to celebrate. Awww...but they had a parade to come home to, thousands of people lined the Dallas streets to let them know we were there (in spirit) with them all along.

I know...hockey didn't catch on at first, but nothing like a championship team to spark your interest.

Soccer is big here in the school system but not as a professional sport yet. I've watched many a game on television though.

Baseball, Football, and Basketball seem to be the main American sports that drives people crazy here. Oh well, whatever floats your boat!!!

Neil Florida has a hockey team also called the Panthers........

I agree Sandy the Devils plated great, as did the Stars, they were very well matched, to win in O/T......they both deserved to win.
