Of course it wasn't. It was an English player. And he was very sympathetic afterwards.

You need to take the blinkers off, mate. Rooney is a very fiery character and will always be that way. His genius and passion will give us an extra edge but unfortunately things like this will happen. I cannot prove there was intent, and neither can you prove there wasn't. But look with your eyes. If you headbutt someone, anyone, you are usually doing it from a high position and bound to knock them off balance.

Pity. Zidane is and will always be remembered more for being a footballing legend.
