Question

What do you think of mandatory face protectors being worn by pro hockey players after the tragedy which may end Bryan Berards career caused by high sticking. They say he may never regain sight in his eye.

Thumbs down

Well, for one thing, they will never get the NHLPA to agree to that. They have already said they will not go for it. If they don't agree forget it. Remember how long it took to get them to say okay for halmets. That was like pulling teeth.
I think they sould not have mandatory visors. Things like what happened to Bryan Berard, don't happen very often. Yes, it was terrible what happened. I have prayed for him. But, I don't see adding another rule is going to change things.

I tend to agree with you Tim, although it would be a great influence for the kiddies, I guess it's like anything else, unless it happens to you things stay the same. The kids playing these days have to wear them, and will probably continue to do so.

PS. did you know you con send him a message at www.peneltybox.com
