A break of the traditional Order?

Thoughts on the current Hearts winning streak? Is it reasonable to expect them to challenge the Old Firm within 3 years (as is Romanovs plan and desire) or is it realistic even to expect them to keep on going this season? Personally i think the season will be made or broken at Tynecastle next week depending on whether Hearts and beat Rangers. A win for Hearts and i think theyl keep going till the end of the season but a win for Rangers and i can see Hearts dropping off and the OF continuing their monopoly on the top two spots.

Personally, I am hoping for a draw at Tynecastle next weekend however I don't think it unreasonable to expect Hearts to be challenging Rangers for 2nd place come May.

Yeah i think it would take a collapse as spectacular as their start for them not to be challenging for 2nd at least. Hopefully theyl win the title though and thus make the SPL slightly meaningfull again.

To be honest I think they will demolish Rangers. Rangers are not the team this season everyone was expecting and I think hearts have no fear of loosing as there is no real pressure on them to win especially with a 3 year plan. Rangers are toast.

Well the mighty Hearts did not put on too good of a showing last night, I bet the Rangers are delighted ahead of this weekends match.

Rangers didn't put on a good show either and were pretty lucky against the Bully Wee the other night.

I don't think Saturday's game will make or break Hearts' championship bid. Hearts are enough points ahead of Rangers to be able to drop points in what is an away tie for them. The problem would be the manner of any defeat, a real gubbing would be a psycological blow.

However, if Hearts do beat Rangers it may break Rangers championship bid as they will then be 11 points behind the league leaders and a game at Parkhead to come soon.

Keltic_bhoy, I don't think a draw would be the best result for Celtic, I thoink a Rangers defeat will be the best result for Celtic. I can see Celtic making up 5 points against Hearts but I can't see Rangers making up 11.
