What happened was that they had a great opportunity to win something finally after 20 years of loosing. Which they did end up winning and good for them but it was not the excellent telly coverage that did it. The TV coverage was every bit as good as it was last year. The reason it did well this year is because they were looking to win and everyone loves a winner, just ask the national rugby and football teams and sporting hero's. Then ask them what happens the next time they loose.

At any rate, give Scottish youngsters an opportunity to play this character building sporting game.

They already do and we have a huge cricket team and facilities just near us, also we have a popular rugby club too. Fortunately these people take there sport seriously and do not only sing its praises whenever its getting good press, like you do.
