OK so we didnae quite do it. Every player in green and white on that pitch last night gave everything to win the match, and with a wee bit more luck we would have done it. If we can reproduce that form in the league then I'm sure we will win back our trophy.

I like Gordon Strachan - I think he's a straight talker and has proved to be a fair manager... but knowing the Celtic supporters.... well, I'll be happy to see if he can survive 'losing' their European hopes so early in the season. |

I've already heard one bigotted balloon on a phone in trot out the "he's not Celtic-minded enough" twaddle. They seem to forget that the best manager they ever had, bar none, was Protestant.
