Here is a wee topic just discuss the sport that was once described as "the beautiful game". I am an avid supporter of football in Scotland and I love the game as a whole. feel free to drop by and discuss anything to do with the national sport in Scotland. Feel free to nail your colours (whether club colours or national) to the mast.

Well I'm a Celtic fan and still trying to come to terms with the end to last season. I can only describe how I felt as the same emotions which came to me when Porto scored their 3rd goal in Seville. But I'm now looking forward to a new era under Gordon Strachan and cannae wait for the new season to start.

I ma a Rangers fan, and also still trying to get over the end to last season, although I'm sure for different reasons than Keltic_bhoy. It still seems like a dream, we will wake up and find out is wasn't real. I am also looking forward to a new season - it is difficult to get to see the games here in Canada - even with satellite, they are few and far between. Rangers just left Canada - they played Dynamo Zagreb in Toronto (lost 1-0). Too far away for me - now if they could come to Calgary ...

The title race was good last year due to the fact it went right down to the wire and the eventual champions were not in control of thier own destiny until the dying minutes of the games. I do hope that there is greater compition with a 3rd force challenging the OF.

Are you yet another daft romantic foreigner without a clue just like S.J.?
Note some awkward facts LHBK.
The modern small kilt which has been adopted by "supporters" of the Scottish national soccer team who nonetheless choose to disgrace us abroad
by exposing themselves indecently was, wait for it, designed and manufactured by two Englishmen called Rawlinson and Parkinson.
Moreover, the fifty best known "clan" tartans were dreamed up by the Sobieski Stuart brothers - two con men!
