That's because the Scottish team never wins (lost 3-0 yesterday to the mighty Hungary), so Scots support other teams who WIN, rather than just supporting Scotland.

You're quite right. I'd forgot that England have never lost a game, ever.

I support whoever plays England because they are rivals. I have a mate who supports whoever plays Man Utd because he supports Liverpool. Same thing. Get over it.

I didn't say that England never loses, but we also win sometimes. We win more games than we lose, and that makes us ranked about 8th in the world.

Perhaps Scots instead of supporting any team that plays against Scotland, and voting Labour/Lib Dem, would be better off voting for an independence party, and considering the England team just like any other foreign one. That would be more constructive.

If they've got bad feeling about how Scotland gets treated, supporting the other team won't get anything done.
