Talking Euro 2004

well, well a superb England performance, they didn't even deserve to reach extra time never mind a penalty shoot out!
Portugal were camped in the England half throughout the second halfand should've finish the game then.Poor old Sir Wayne Rooney OBE,MBE order of the garter,King of England, saviour of the world, just another over paid, brain dead football player(see David, oops,Beckham),his injury seemed to be a national tragedy(who cares)
England will meet who in the final???..Now we wont have to listen to the xenophobic, arrogant, patronizing,England rules the World crap we've had to listen to so far.If only the comments were close to being fair, the Scots might even wish the English well, until that happens....well,as they say in Glasgow...get it right up you!!!!

Gutted but its like I say, we can still say we are in the top teams in europe. Out of the many teams in Europe we were still in it in the quarters. Two more matches and we would have been champions. Decision or not, we still got further than most teams.

Ah well, now I can concentrate on Super League, thats just the best sporting spectacle there is.

Yes I do read the news, (as long as you don't consider The Sun to be a 'newspaper' or the BBC to be impartial). There were a total of 14 arrests made in Jersey and 15 arrests in Thetford and surprisingly no trouble in Portugal.
This is a tiny percentage of England fans. I am sorry, but your small minded, constant need to tar ALL English fans with the same brush, p*sses me off.

Fortunately my stepsisters are Scottish so I do realise that not all Scottish people are filled with hate for the English.

It always amuses me about the reports of major violence when british culture dictates youngsters across the country go out at night on a weekend, make fools of themselves drinking themselves silly and getting arrested. Generally there is so much trouble, yet because of the past when any incidents happen football related it is reported as a crisis.

The real problems are across the country week in week out with this boozy culture we have. But don't let the fact that millions and millions of englishmen were perfectly peaceful after the match get in their way, we are monsters after all!
