This topic is about "Euro 2004"
It is not about the fans or your own Prejudices, or others towards you...please take it to the political forum or human rights or somewhere which is more appropriate and let this thread get back on track... the sport forum is not for discussing bigotry in any form its about discussing sport Thankyou ![]() |

I thought this was a decent discussion on scottish attitudes but if thats not in the spirit then so be it. I fully expect others to drop their political opinions on the subject in return and focus on the teams playing. |

Therefore if we are to have an all-encompassing discussion of sporting matters we need to examine all its constituent parts - and that includes politics.

I am only being aprehensive towards the fact that we are now taking the discussion on a course not fully attentive to the euro 2004 but rather more upon the scottish and english divide...
This I feel is not in the spirit of sport and thus should be moved to an area more appropriate for said discussion. I was not expecting to be wrong so far on two opinions and I am sorry if my aprehension has offended either of you. Though with no direction and any particular poster in mind, I still say that this is now no more about euro 2004 as it is in my grannies rug fettish... To discuss sport I would think it would be more about goals and strategys, and even projections on future forcasts.... However if the majority believes that sport in general should be also discussed to the barriers of bigotry and facism then I would be happy to amend my views. just let me know ![]() |
