Truth be known they can be rather insensitive. If Scotland were involved Id expect the papers to get behind them and couldn't see them doing that to the same extent. I realise England is bigger but the papers still represent scotland and as long as they sell to them should respect their needs somewhat.

That said, The Daily Mirror has a scottish version quite openly anti english recently so I hear. When you keep comparing yourselves to england and supporting everyone else your own team will never get anywhere.

I mean is it ok for the Daily Record to go off on one? Should I be anti-scottish because of this?

Also, can you explain why the BBC and ITV have the following pundits for the tournament when there is a clear english bias: Alan Hansen, Mark Lawrenson, Peter Schmeicel,Andy Townsend,Gordon Strachan? Much appreciated. Id say the coverage is pro england but not blinkered by any means.

Andy J2: Emile Heskey is a donkey who spends most of the matches on his backside. He would still waltz into the scotland side.

After the game 400 "fans" were involved in rioting in various cities in England and 83 arrests were made however I don't recall seeing much mention of that being made in today's Scottish press.Just think-if anti-English sentiment in Scotland's media were real rather than imaginary they could have had a field day with that.

Your statement about hooligans has nothing to do with my arguement and is simply a diversion tactic to use others misdemeanors to discredit me. Shame on you.

I am well aware of England Football fans behavioural problems, it has been well documented that it is a much wider issue than just sport. Scotland is certainly not blameless on the petty violence in football front, as anyone who supports the old firm will be well aware of. Although 83 arrests out of how many millions isn't actually all that worrying considering it could have happened in the same Liverpool pub knowing that place. Its a minor figure for a large country and as I say, how can you be sure they were football related?

I will find you some evidence of scottish newspaper when I have the time.

Grow up.

Am I living in a Nation of bloody kids or something?

I envy someone who has so little in their sad existence that they can care so much about something like this.

Wink Euro 2004

Glad to see the English fans are up to thier usual behaviour, enjoying the quintessential english football supporters life abroad, getting pissed and starting a fight with, the locals/opposing fans/police/anyone they don't like/each other. At least the Scots fans know how to enjoy themselves without causing mayhem. Most other countries of the world would welcome Scottish football fans with open arms, don't think you could say the same about the English supporters.
The resons Scots don't want England to win anything at football is simple ...just listen to John Motson, make you want to vomit!!

If Enland win we will never hear the end of it. There still boasting about the time they won the world cup, and that's why i don't want them to win. Although i do like the english team, and feel bad about going against our neighbours, also it seem like everywhere the English fans go, there will be a group of them that start rioting, and that reflects on the englad Team. So all in all, i wan't England to get as far as they can before they get beat.

PS
Scotland are crap at football......and just about any other sport.
