well if your down in texas, were football is a big thing,a bad play by a player could result in a mugging, but I live up here in washington where thats not such a big deal, but if you mess up a play you look really bad to the rest of the players, same thing with you cheerleaders huh?

Hi MadDog,

Just to set the record straight: The Scottish Claymores Cheerleaders are not the only professional cheerleading squad in Scotland.

The Scottish Rockettes who perform at Braehead for the Scottish Rocks basketball team are also a professional squad (as were their predecessors when the team was based in Edinburgh).

They have also entertained the crowds at Rangers and Celtic games and they were the only dance squad in Europe deemed to be of a high-enough standard to perform for the Harlem Globetrotters during their 2003 and 2004 World Tours.

Take care,

Iain.

If there was cheerleading in european football ( soccer) there would be mass rioting with many people getting hurt for bringin there game down to its kness with moron highschool students jumping around like idiots belting britney spears hits from microphones,
in europe and around the world football ( soccer) is actually a serious sport,
when ever two countries are at war they can still play soccer when ever you play a country you hate there is so much passion in soccer not like america where the teams actually move around the country and the only people they play are differant cities american sports are not serious in any way or half as passionate as soccer (arghh i hate calling football soccer
