[i]From my Knowledge of both games.. lol..
ermmm.. the darn ball is kicked in both no?????? And americans may have tight ends or wide receivers.. but you tell me.. Full Backs.. Sweepers.. and Stoppers.. are not silly in their own right? Why is it that it even matters what the name of the positions are?? And what difference does it make to the game as a sport? Not every name needs to be exactly to what the game is.. How would one justify Hockey then? Aye.. does the word Hockey claify to anyone that its played on ice with sticks and a puck? And if you want to get completelly riduclious.. why do people drive on a parkway.. and park in a driveway? It really makes no difference.. sheeeshhh [b]And on a more serious note, I would like to point out to you Drwineglass, to Please take heart in the future on how you phrase your words and comments in your posts... There is no need, or call for that type of talk.. and I would image it would be rather offensive to some..

It doesn't matter how much we kick the ball! movies have their titles from a line in the movie thats said ONCE alot of the time! hand ball pa-leez!
oh an I don't think the "super macho jocks" would care about the name of the game. an the name hand ball doesn't sound gay u do. quit being sucha jack ass no one cares for your choice of words! mistress/talon excuse the language. he should be happy i didn't write wut i want to say!

I as well was a bit taken back with the reply, but then again, I am sometimes with many of the replies.. lol.. back to American Football: well you may think its some blasphemous statement to say that American Football should have a name other than football druid(not neccisarily handball) you have to understand we (the rest of the world) have had football for longer than you guys...and with you referring to american football as football it just confuses everyone...so either another name should have been used in the first place for the sport..or you should always refer to it as American Football...cause its not football...and it does suck that when talking to americans about football we have to always say soccer just so its not confusing...but here (in the rest of the world  ) we call it football, not soccer.... cant you see what I am saying??
