March and Rally for Independence -September 22nd - Edinburgh

The March and Rally in support of Scottish Independence takes place in Edinburgh on Saturday 22, Sept.
A great line up which includes Alex Salmond, Margo MacDonald, Dennis Canavan, Patrick Harvie,
Dougie MacLean, Hardeep Singh Koli and many more will speak and perform for the attendees.
This promises to be the largest gathering in support of Scottish Independence in a generation.
The March leaves at 11am from The Meadows in Edinburgh and makes its way to Princes Street
Gardens where the Rally will be held.
A day for all the family with speakers, entertainers, face painters, stalls etc.

I think Scotland's pro-independent minority are really getting desperate now. They know they haven't got a cat in hell's chance of winning the referendum. It's no wonder Salmond's trying to reduce Scotland's voting age to 16.

in contrary to what the bitter english guy above says the independence campaign is growing strong and stronger by the day.....especially when we see the mess his gov is making of the country.

every time a tory/lib open their mouths more people must think independence is a better idea.

i wont make the march tho as im working

They should be painting their faces with the Union Jack, and the flag of Scotland!
And waving the Union flag, as well as their own, one in each hand!

It doesn't have to be one or the other, it can be both!

You know, "One for all, and all for one"...Scotland, England, Wales, and Northen Ireland.
As the world is going to hell in a handbasket, now is not the time for 'desertion'.

Silly little things like economies, finance, and budgets can be worked out by wise politicians.
Leaving the Union is a giant step.
God Save the Queen and all that entails;

They...are coming to get us!
They've already blown up NYC, Bali twice, London etc.
We all need to stick solid.
Commonwealth patriots are needed to fight the 'war'...which has many fronts.
We don't need people leaving.

A very bad idea, is Scotland's leaving the Union.

It's a very bad idea from an English viewpoint, for sure. But makes perfect sense to most Scots.

1. No more Trident
2. No more nuclear plants, or waste dumped here.
3. No more participation in illegal wars.
4. No more Tory 'welfare' cuts to provide bankers with bonuses.
5. The chance to make our own decisions, not be told what to do by Wastemonster.

That's your starter... I could go on, almost ad infinitum. You can keep Mrs Saxe-Coburg-Gotha-Battenburg if you like. No doubt Boris, Dave and George can all help her wave the little flags...
