"This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England." Inappropriate much? Very I think. Thanks Obama. Clearly Scotland is no longer part of the Union in America's eyes anyway.

We never did get much recognition for being part of this Union. We might as well go it alone.

Funny when Jerusalem was written there probably were a lot of people who truly did feel that England really was the new Jerusalem. They were deluded of course (as potentially [clinically] was Blake). They thought they were building a new world, but they neglected to consider the misery they spread among their conquered and subjugated peoples.
