Can we win the referendum?

New poll shows only a minority of voters support the Union

Newsnet discusses a poll that shows the Scots are not confirmed as a majority of Unionists.

It's one of those weird questions. If you ask people if they support independence, probably a lot would say no (but largely based on fear about the economics of it all), but if you ask them if they support the Union, there's a fair chance a majority of them would say no too. It depends what question you ask them. People are just generally afraid of whether (due to extensive media disinformation) we can actually afford independence or not.

They just need convincing. Hopefully Salmond can do this. (At least lets hope the economy thrives in Scotland over the next 5 years. If the entire UK hits the wall again, we may be stuffed.)

What would their response be if they were asked whether they supported dependance and paying more than they got back in return ?

no its 2 different questions totally.
1: do you support independence.
2: do you support paying more than they got back in return.....what ever that means
