so, any one in favour of a return of the Stewarts LOL:
in the red corner we have chief imposter and general Belgian nosey parker, HRH Prince Michael of Albany (as he likes tae be kent) and in the blue corner, Franz, Duke of Bavaria, who unlike his rival really can trace his ancestry back to the Stuarts. any takers? hmmm, thought not. but perhaps we could get them to duel at dawn or something, and gie us some entertainment ![]() ------------------------ Alba gu brath! |

The Picts of the north were most probably related to the Celtic Britons that once spanned Great Britain. Thanks to the fact that we are a ******* race of inbreds, it's almost impossible for anyone around these here parts not to have a bit of that blood in them.

We probably all spoke something like Welsh. Place names in the East of Scotland are of Pictish origin - Bogindollo, Oathlaw, Pittenweem, Aberbrothock (now Arbroath).
Even Aberdeen is a Pictish name I believe. "Aber" means "mouth of a river" as it does in Welsh whilst the Gaelic equivalent is "Inver" Colin http://www.scotpix.biz
