Hi!
The recent most ridiculous attempts to ban French food (making the wine producers in France responsible for the beef conflict) showed again the europhobia of certein groups in English society.
Sotland is known to be europhile (in order to get away from the influnce of England). But I was shocked by the low Scottish turn-out in the Euro elections and I heard that more and more Scots are becoming sceptic concerning the Euro.
The Euro would be good for Scottish tourism. I'm sure that many Germans and other Europeans think twice to spend their holiday in Scotland in regard of such a strong pound.
But the Euro is not only an economic issue.
What do you think about Scotland in Europe?

sometimes you can be too close to the problem
to see the big picture.
the french one would say deserve all they get
they have never hesitated in banning/blockading uk produce.they have been doing so for many many years, they are only doing what they are best at-(obstinate & self-rightous)however i happen to like them.
what most anti ec distractors havent realised is that without a united euorope the future is not good.
for example, the total gdp of europe is just equal to the usa on its own, asian countries have formed or are in the process of forming similar a common market, the middle eastern coutries are doing the same.europe has to unite to survive in future markets.
some say that in less than 50 years todays
europe will be one big country and most if not all of the present differences will be
a thing of the past.after all once apon a time it was one land mass
