Not yet, my civilized British cousins!

In the Wild West of American political science,"Dirty Politics" only happens when we start shooting at one another with our big colt .357 six-shooters.

By tradition this event will only happen after the election.

It's Godzilla versus King Kong fighting it out in the cesspit of US politics. If you believe Michael Moore's film, Bush was in cahoots with the Bin Laden clan. If you believe the Swiftvets' book, the man who wants to replace Bush is a poltroon - incapable of commanding a small plastic boat, let alone the most powerful nation on the planet as it faces the greatest crisis in its history. As usual in politics everywhere, it will come down to who is telling the truest lies.

About the same time the Scots quit discussing American politics....So I suppose you're saying that if A British newspaper makes remarks that controversial about the Presidential Election of 2004, I'm not suppost to comment because I'm an American?

BTW, I do discuss Scottish politics and I find myself receiving an education from some Scots who practice it on this EBB in a very expert manner.

"About the same time the Scots quit discussing American politics"

I don't go to American boards and discuss the SNP leadership crisis. Sorry.
