Smile Someone asked me where......

......I was staying for my jaunt to Scotland this year.

Culligran Cottages : Self Catering holiday accommodation Beauly, Highlands of Scotland

Had to book in January as it is a very popular place for walkers and the like. It is also a good base for
doing some Munro's

looks lovely ...might suggest that to my mates for a week away.

they must have taken all those pics on that afternoon it was sunny lol

EDIT: on second thoughts it looks a bit pricey....£400+pw for a 2 bedroom chalet?????

we'd be off to euroland for those prices

It is a wee bit dear but worth it just to wake up to the peace and serenity of the location

As for the weather I have been up there in the middle of winter and struggled to get to
the Glen but when driving down past the Cnoc Hotel the snow seems to disappear lol

It can be raining in Inverness but full sun there

Its the larger one of the chalets we are in next week with a daughter and family.

We usually stay at my sisters as she lives in the same glen but with 5 of us going there
wouldn't be enough room

Back after our jaunt...had a brilliant relaxing time, even though I fell yesterday morning
and did damage to my foot..hip, shoulder and arm, the bruising is coming along nicely

We went over to Aberdeen for a few days after the chalet and enjoyed that also !!

The chalet was larger than we thought it would be and was like a little oven at night..all warm
and cosy, we didn't miss a TV....took a radio with us so we could keep track of the weather
forecast...only one rainy day and that was when we were driving to Drumnadrochit
from Glen Affric.

Daughter was so impressed with the chalet and area she has already booked for next year
