scotland.com to be closed?

I heard earlier that the scotland.com website is to be closed down for a much needed revamp. I can only assume that this is because the site that was recently up for sale has new owners who know a bit more about Scotland than the previous lot. Or at least I hope that is the case. I also hope they know how to use social media sites like facebook too... scotland.com is on facebook, but after a week only 10 people seem to be aware of that fact (and after a week that is pathetic!)

So where does that leave us here on the forum? If I had anything to do with it I would clear everything out and start from scratch... and then I would ban anyone who makes any brigadoonish comments!

Anyway, that's what I think should happen; what does anyone else think? Best have your say while you still can!

I rather liked Brigadoon.

Gene Kelly sang rather well.

Vincent Minelli did say, "There's nothing Scottish about Scotland".

Still, that was before devolution.
