Noise

Here we are again, another weekday afternoon in our wee office on Buchanan Street where we are listening to the skirl of the pipes outside. We have no objection to pipers as such but it doesn't do much for our concentration. After a coffee break discussion we decided to do some research into noise and called our friend Robert of ARC Acoustics. According to him sound is a form of energy and the greater the amount of this energy produced in one place the greater the effect will be where it is allowed in. Differing frequencies of sound produce different energies and need to be dealt with differently. All very scientific indeed and Robert and his staff procure materials and techniques from all over the world for sound reduction, sound isolation, sound deadening and sound dampening. So, now we know. Next time you experience noise pollution you'll know all about that energy, now where's that piper?
