This is a reminder regarding the Scotland.com Forum Rules that all users agreed to abide by when signing up on the forums.

The Rules of Conduct state:
"User agrees not to use or attempt to use Scotland.com or the Services to:

Upload, post or otherwise transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, fraudulent, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable or contains explicit or graphic descriptions, or accounts of sexual acts;

Victimize, harass, degrade, or intimidate an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability"

We will not tolerate any violation of these rules.

Depending on the degree of the offense (as determined by the Moderators and Admin), the punitive action is as follows:

1st Offence = A written warning via PM
2nd Offence = A written warning via PM and 2 week quarantine
3rd Offence = Permanent ban

These punitive actions will be enforced equally and fairly as far as possible at the discretion of Admin and the Moderators.

The Scotland.com Forums provide an environment for the amicable exchange of information, discussion of opinions and respectful debate. Petty squabbling as well as personal attacks do not benefit anyone.
