That's a very strange thing to say to an American!
![]() Personally I think you need to count yourself lucky as well... and please do NOT refer to me as British; I am 100% Scottish!

Why are you using a Scottish site for stream of consciousness posts, better suited to an Adrian Mole diary?

What I would like to know is why the above post by Ezri was even necessary... surely a link to his "new website" and/or the specific url would have been sufficient. Instead what we get is spam at its very best!
![]() Also, since when was the Gregorian Calander also known as the US Calaender? The first dates from the late 16th century and the latter didn't exist at that time! Then again, this is someone who refers to a person from Oregon, USA as "British"!

I know the laddie's a wee bit young - but this sort of thing should be bannned.
Does ANYONE on here give a tuppeny damn about his problems with his choice of girlfriend, or his playing video games? He's about 14, judging by the content....

OREGON is now a part of Great Britain? That should make all the West side liberal tweeters scream! haahaahaa!!!!!
Add a number 14 to that list, 14. You live in a free society in which you can make an assumption. . . however wrong. Besides, what would being British have to do with telling you to grow up and stop whining? They know those words (or some form of them) over there as well. By the way, maybe you don't take Grammar or pay attention to it BUT YOUR refers to ownership such as YOUR car or YOUR homework. The correct pronoun/verb contraction you should use when calling people something is YOU'RE (you are) so saying Your British alludes to my ownership of all things British, where as YOU'RE British would have been the correct use of the contraction despite being a completely incorrect statement. You have (You've) riled up an English teacher! Use those contractions, pronouns, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, objects and verbs correctly and make points in school. |
