What brought you to s.com?
This is prolly a question that has been asked before, but I dont see it so I will ask again,

What brought you here?

For me, it was purely by accident (and on another username) I am originally from Scotland and have always been interested in Scottish stuff so one night, when I was bored on the internet and typed in www.scotland.com expecting it to be, maybe the tourist board website.

I found this place and now visit on an infrequent basis when my social life allows.

How about you guys, what brought you here?

I'm moving back to Scotland soon and as I found forums very helpful during my last move thought I'd seek out some Scottish ones and see if the same could happen. Found this one on an internet search for 'Scottish Forums'.

I was told about the site by someone in another Scottish site who was a member here.

So I came and looked and moved in !!

That was many moons ago, I never once thought I would be here so long

I was scoping out sites to add information to the scrap book I was making with the pics and other memorabilia brought home from my first trip to visit. I did a search for 'scotland information' and got this site virtually at the top of the list. The youngest daughter and I got home in August of '98 so it was sometime after that when I found the place.
