I was kicked off "X Marks The Scot" along with some other native Scots for taking the piss out of non-Scottish people who spent all their time comparing and photographing their latest purchases of PVC sporrans, Hello Kitty garter flashes and Hamish's Secret tartan silk suspender belts to the adulation of all. Everything was about kilts (un-bifurcated garments as they called them) and love of kilt-wearing, even off-topic was about kilts. Here was me thinking the website title meant it was a site for Scottish people from all over Scotland, including expats, to chew the fat, laugh and grouse in the way we do best.

Silly me.

So I looked again and here I am.

I also belong to the Kintyre Forum and the Black Watch Forum, plus Great War Forum and one or two other historical research sites.
