I think that for many of the Scots that used to post on here it wasn't the fighting that made them leave - it was the Brigadoonish quality of many of the posts.....

Not sure, MatthewC - I suspect there are a couple who still post occasionally, oh and the Martians are residents of our fair City!!

I found this site while doing history research. I think it was back in 2001 and I registered under a different username. I left for about two years and then came back in 2004 under this name. At first it was just to find out more about the differences in culture, but I love history. European history has always fascinated me so I've continued to come in here and read some of the posts and sometimes throw in my "two cents". I've met some very interesting people and have kept contact with them outside of the forum throughout the years.
