£10 per day parking at Royal Infirmary

£10 per day to park there. there is no alternative parking. Please please sign the petition calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Executive to conduct an inquiry into excessive car parking charges at NHS hospitals, such as the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

I doubt there will be much will to go back on the scheme tho. Sorry.

Introducing these traffic "management" schemes at soft targets like hospitals & universities are an easy way to make it seem like the Exec/Councils have met their requirements under the various directives for reducing/discouraging car use, even if they fail to deal with the problem properly in the places that really need it & cause significant difficulty to people who work there.

Just expect it to get worse.
