Buchan Portobello Pottery ,Scotland-"Wanted to Buy or Locate"

I have been collecting the Buchan stoneware in the Thistle pattern. Buchan pottery was made in Portobello,Scotland. The Buchan company was established in Portobello in 1867. They just closed the plant there last August 1999. So Iwon't be able to visit the plant.

Just wondering if anyone can lead me to a source that may still have it for sale in Scotland,or even here the the US.

Anyone else collect pottery or stoneware from Scotland??

I have a complete setting of 8 of the thistle pattern plus serving dishes, soup spoons, spoon holder, etc.

Good morning Kathleen,

I came across several pieces of the beautiful Thistle design Buchan stoneware - two cups, two saucers, two berry dishes a sandwich plate and three dinner plates. I will be keeping the smaller pieces, they are so lovely, for a little breakfast set but I think the dinner plates should join a larger set. I saw your note and wonder if you would be interested in purchasing them - they are in mint condition.
I live in Durand IL (1.5 miles from WI state line in central north IL).
