There are so many beautiful castles in Scotland. Can I get a suggestion on anyone's favorite? I won't have time to see all of them.

Eilean Donan which is on the way to Kyle of Lochalsh is probably the most photographed castle in scotland (if you don't count Edinburgh castle).

You can see a picture of Eileen Donnan castle on my website below. My favourite castle is Dunskey castle in Portpatrick.

There is a magnificent castle on the isle of Arran. Second only to the cheese factory, of course.

Stirling Castle, next to ,yes, Stirling. Battle of Bannockburn, etc. Nnot the most scenic, but worth a trip

Are ye looking at staying at a castle or visiting wonderful sites. I could forward a few web sites that offer some grand castle accomodations if that be yer wish...

Willy - I think we've met on another board. Are there any castles to stay in at a reasonable price (defined as less than $125 a night)?
