Moderators?

could you tell me what individual powers moderators have?

I read a post from a mod saying that "they would look into something, and change it if needed" What I am asking is can a moderator change things about this site without permsission from you, Admin?

The Moderator was most likely "looking into it" by consulting Admin. Moderators are considered as the voice of all members, their suggestions are highly valued. However, they do not many abilities other than editing, moving and deleting posts.
