I have been a member since October 2003 but I am becoming increasingly annoyed about the person who keeps removing you tube videos from some of my posts what exactly is your problem. Some of the posts are totally meaningless when you remove the video content. You are the only forum that is so strict about this. There are lots more forums out there so I may just decide not to come back here and for years I have been advising people to visit your site now I might advise them not to bother because of the little hitler that keeps removing harmless content.

I have to agree with MAGUS here, I can see no reason why youtube videos are being removed especially when you consider that links to other sites (and even forums) are allowed! One of MAGUS's other posts is a prime example... and strangely enough it is through that particular post you can find the youtube video that MAGUS really wanted to post here, but couldn't because it would have been removed!

So anyway, an explanation would be nice!

I am curious about the youtube issue too.

Is this an official Scotland.com directive , or a personal bias from a moderator ?

Right I have given reasons all over the place for the removal of youtube links, this will be the last time.

I do wonder how many times I need to say it !!!!!!


Complaints were made about the amount of youtube posts being put in and some were offensive...so
the links were taken out and then it was...........
why just my links taken out by some of the posters and not all links.

I do have a life away from this place and couldn't spend all my time online checking through all the
youtube links put in...so the easiest course was to delete all links...I even posted somewhere about
it...no comments were made at the time and this is in the last year and not before 2003 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't have any problem with youtube personally....I like many of the video's, some of them are just
inane fun so no bias from me.

Just a little note to the 'person' who seems to have the problem with me..if you look at other posts
about having problems with other members(yes I am a member not just a mod) they are advised to try
and sort any issues off the boards and then if it cannot be sorted to go higher...when both parties can
put their points of view...without name calling
