Members Contacting Moderators

Another message board I frequent, one which also uses vB software, has a little button in each post that allows members to "report post to moderators". On that board, it is used to alert mods to offensive or trolling posts as there is also another, more general purpose, "e-mail moderators" option.

However, I wonder whether we could have a simple "contact moderators" option here, in order to provide a straightforward way for members to e-mail moderators and Admin., particularly because not everyone can be e-mailed through the user profile.

No problem - if I just take my glasses off, I wouldn't be able to read the screen anyway.

It would be a good addition. I moderate on a board that does have a similar feature, where people report messages and they go into a queue for moderator attention, and it's a great help, generally people draw attention to worthwhile things and the level of abuse is low. Didn't realise it wasn't used here until this topic.
