Unfortunately, ah didnae!

But it's remarkable how much media coverage and public interest these events attract. So, how do we spark such interest in other areas of science and engineering?

Haven't seen it either... and it did not spark my interest.
Not that I have not stared many times into the night sky armed eye or not. Watched meteor showers and eclipses.
