Well Artoo I dont even know you so why you would be wanting to fight with me or assume that I was trying to with you is beyond me... and until now I dont think I have even posted to you before...at least not as a member called Artoo...

I believe I already stated in in earlier post what I thought of what the Clonaid site was saying, particularily my feelings on the immoral front...I am sorry if in some way my lack of knowledge on this subject or understanding is offensive to you...and I am very sorry that I got the sheeps name wrong, but before I read the Clonaid site I thought that clonning was a good Idea and valuble to our medical future in many areas.

Also, I dont think it's possible to have worldwide tolerance and harmony with or without the LGM... it doesnt even seem possible to have it here right now in this thread... you are entitled to all your opinions Artoo and I am sure many of them will be worthwhile and valid ones... I am just confused as to why already in more than one thread just in this forum your telling/recommending as to how the forum moderators should do there job.... is that harmony? or for a desire there-in?

Its obvious your an intelligent man Artoo... but to use intelliegence as a sole purpose to belittle another only makes you stupid

You misunderstand me - I think you're right about cloning. It's a good thing - it's just that these Clonaid people are hi-jacking it for their own religious and commercial purposes. I smell a scam. And I've sure that KfC is a victim rather than a perp.

Well, I suggested the 'Science' forum about a year ago here (as RDT2), even offered to mod it, then got fed up with some mods allowing religious nuts to go off-topic and ply their wares as science (I mod several other boards - as indeed do many of the members here). See http://www.sciforums.com (physics and maths) for a good policy on pseudo-science.

Not 'solely' but I'm not having mumbo-jumbo masquerading as science. I'll fight that anywhere and I've been doing it for a long time. Otherwise there's no hope for us.

You two battling it out is a bit disturbing, but I understand your problems. I'm not trying to convert anyone here. Just trying to make you guys aware of what is out there and what will have an impact in the future. I respect both of your viewpoints very much. I agree with Mistress, KfC. Many people, especially in the west, are looking for something that is missing in their lives and there is any number of charlatans willing to step in and provide it. Just look at the expansion in the 'new age' section of the bookshops - all of it pure drivel. Some of my friends make money out of 'real' astrology and have convinced themselves and others that, because they have pages covered with calculations and obscure symbols, that they're engaging in science. They're deluding themselves - and it's a dangerous delusion that removes responsibility from individuals and puts it on the planets. Or a god.
