Celyn, I'm not sure what a cleak is - but maybe it's a phonetic spelling (a la Lallans) for clique?

As for religion -well, I don't know why this was posted here, I only answered a question that Heidi6 posed on this forum...!

Polwarth - it's OK - I didn't mean to get at you. And, yes, you're probably right about it being intended to mean "clique".

Cool

Polwarth - I was directing my earlier comment to the person who started this thread, not at you. Sorry if you thought that. I should've have said so in the beginning. However, thank you for clearing up what the meaning of "kilt hag" is.

Heidi6 - You are welcome!

Celyn - I just didn't want you to think that I was stirring the pot here - Heidi seemed truly unaware of what that term meant. I have to confess, I've heard it being used quite a few time in Edinburgh - particularly during Festival time...

Unhappy

Ok. I am confussed (what else is new.lol) What is so wrong w/ people wanting to embrace/learn about different cultures? Isn't that what that term meant, but in a bad way? I guess my confusion is all part of the atlantic gap between us. Different countries, different slang.

Well, now we have the bizarre spelling sorted out, I still wonder what the original post has to do with any religion, and why Thanatos does not move deathtokilthags' thread to somewhere more appropriate, or delete it.
