I believe in spiritualiy and that we are all a spark of God that what is true for me is not neseceraly true for you
We all have our own truth to live by no one is right and no one is wrong! We all are here to learn different lessons and the most inportant one is to learn to love one another
not to judge but to understand and respect all peoples views
We are all children of God yes even the so called bad/dark souls we are all on our own journey and if we can help even one person to see the light we are doing good
love and light to all Alloa

Alloa,
That is precisely what I believe. Each of us is solely responsible for our choices in life and we alone must face the consequences of our actions. While I believe in God I do not believe that we should look to God for deliverance or salvation. The greatest reverence we can pay God is to exert ourselves to be God like in every word, thought and deed.In the words of Bhudda "be ye an island unto yourself, seek not refuge in others".The Godhead is where we have all come from and regardless of our religious beliefs it is where we shall return to.When we accept that we are one with God and everything else in the entire universe our need to incarnate on the material plane will no longer exist.

How nice to read something this uplifting -and so similar to how I believe.
Since someone/something perfect has created this place and us, everything is perfect and right, and if we judge others or situations, we just try to do against the perfectness, the truth.
When you see this world as a soul, not just as a human being, things seem so much clearer and everything that happens has a meaning. Everything is blessed and perfect. I think we can create heaven on earth- what you believe is what you see. God can create a new world through us!(God for me is not a 'religious' God, but the power of the highest kind of Love!)
(english ain't my first language, but I hope you understood what I was trying to say!)

Quite well said Universe.

While I'm not exactly sure that everything is perfect now it is what we should work for. A little more understanding and tolerance is needed. We should challenge our current beliefs in the expectation that we can grow to be more perfect beings.

A person needs to listen to others and learn from there example taking those things that feel right to them and including them in our daily lives making us better people.
For me this means letting others have their say provided they give me an opportunity to express myself. They also should not condemn me to Hell(actually don't believe in it) for not believing as they do.

Heaven is on earth - we just have to recognize it.

Smile I agree to...at least for the most part.... :)

"Religion" is just so confusing at almost all times. The problem with it, that I find, is that everyone for the most part, seems to think that their beliefs are right and anything else is wrong.
It gets very frustrating to find these closeminded individuals that have questions of the why and how!
Oh well,....
I think that is wonderful to find people that share thoughts along the same path as my own.
Everything sure be pointed to the ultimate goodness (if you must give it a title.)
I guess this is why religion is so controversial.

Re: I agree to...at least for the most part.... :)

Hi it's wonderful to read your threads and know that there are many folk who share some of my beliefs it's so rewarding to read other views.
I know for me this earth plane journey is not easy but it's not too hard either. And God/Spirit never gives us more than we can handle. When we as the human race realise that we are one and what harms one harms all then we will learn to live in perfect peace and harmony.
I believe in God but not in religion as so many or the worlds conflicts are started over so called "religion"
When we stop being so selfish and greedy as a human race we will live once more in paradise.
I AM that I AM

Love and Light
to ALL

Thanks to all

It is so nice to come to a thread where we can agree that we find our own way to God.
