Jews in Scotland

Well me being jewish, I'm very curious to hear some history on Jewish peoples in Scotland. Does anyone know anything/have any information to share? I'm just looking for general history on them.

Good to have you on-board! Where you from? I spent some time in Israel on some digs. Most of it was spent down in the Negev with some fellow Scots and a few students from Oxford. It was a great time.

Well I'm originally from Michigan, now live in California. My father's side is from Germany, and my mother is Polish and Scot! So I'm pretty interested in Scottish history and things.

Jameson, you will make an excellant Scot. My father told me that Scots were muts, a little of everything that is. Actually, how he said it was, "Scots are mutts for sure, but the Irish are all inbred." I think he said this just to make my mum angry.
