Hello Jameson-B and welcome to the boards. You could try this link to the Scottish Council of Jewish Communities http://www.j-scot.org/glwrep6.html
and have a look at these. http://www.haruth.com/JewsUKScotland.html http://jewishtelegraph.com/ I am sure there is a book by David Daiches covering the history of Jewish people in Scotland (or perhaps just Glasgow) but I cannot think of its title now. Sorry! ![]() |

Hey Jameson-B,
Good to have you on-board! Where you from? I spent some time in Israel on some digs. Most of it was spent down in the Negev with some fellow Scots and a few students from Oxford. It was a great time. Celto |

Hey Celyn!
Thanks for those links, I'll definately check them out! Hi Celto! Well I'm originally from Michigan, now live in California. My father's side is from Germany, and my mother is Polish and Scot! So I'm pretty interested in Scottish history and things. |

Hi Jameson_B
Another person from California...I believe Willy is from there as well as many others. If you are from California it is time to sign-in. Who else is from California? Jameson, you will make an excellant Scot. My father told me that Scots were muts, a little of everything that is. Actually, how he said it was, "Scots are mutts for sure, but the Irish are all inbred." I think he said this just to make my mum angry. Celto |
