Has anyone read "Conversations with God" written by Neale Donald Walshe?
I've read all three. The first book knocked my socks off (read 2x). It shook the traditional Christain upbringing I had questioned for years. Biggest question:1) Why my belief is the only way to God? 2)What exactly does God get out of creating us with freedom of choice only to eternally damn us to hell if we choose "right" at the time, but "wrong" in the long run.

Wink Will we ever fully understand God?

Thats kind of a trick question, because I don't believe we will. BUT!! Thats not a bad thing! That is a very good thing actually. Can you imagine anyone saying, "God your so predictable!". If you remain faithfull, he is one relationship you won't get bored with.

One person I talked to heard an evangelist talk about a dream he had of heaven.

He said when he got their that One of the disciples or somebody from the bible was showing him around. The whole time the sweetest music was playing (I am pretty sure it must have been Irish Bagpipes) and that one note of the music would make any man drop to his knees because it was so beautiful.
They then came to a field completely filled with flowers, and they all swayed with the music. The man was afraid to step on the flowers, and break them... but the disciple told him not to worry. When he did step in the field the flowers moved aside as he stepped. Later he saw Moses teaching people who hadn't been in heaven as long as he had.

THE LARGEST building he had ever seen had pillars around it with a huge open space inside with light that shown throughout heaven. He then asked the disciple whos in there?
The disciple said,"Thats where God is". "Can I see his face?" asked the man. "No, any mortal that sees his face will surely die". A less bright light, but extremely intense one slowly came over to the building and when it reached it, it exploded with light even brighter than a thousand suns.

There were angels flying around the building while all of this was going on crying out holy, holy, holy is the Lord God. The man then inquired about them. "Those angels have been flying around the thrown of God since they were first created eons ago." "Why?", asked the man. Because every time they fly past God, they see something about him that they didn't see before."

Wow

What did Paul say, I want to get off this planet and see God now!!, but I count it gain to do the Lords work.

I don't think we will ever fully understand God, but thats ok by me.
