Question about Scotland Religion

What are the most common religions in Scotland today? Also what were the most common religions during William Wallace and Robert the Bruce's time?

Hi and welcome to Scotland.com.Most people in Scotland today are christian.The majority of these are protestants but there is a large catholic community.There are also a small number of Hindus,Sikhs and Muslims.In the middle ages when Bruce and Wallace were alive Scotland was,like the rest of Europe,a catholic nation.

It's nice that you consider us Catholics Christians. I believe the big protestant sects are the Church of Scotland and the Anglican Church. My gggg-grandfather was from the Seder Presbyterian Church and that was circa 1725.
