If any of you other guys and gals would like a board dedicated to the questions no one can answer with out making lots of stuff up, please post you opinion here.

Halfbreed, if you have started a thread for this purpose already as suggested by admin, let me know and we can stick to just using one. Consentrate our efforts.

Thats another hard day at the office finished.

Thumbs up

I think a pilosophy board could be really interesting!

Halfbreed: I often ponder about the question whether we are really here or not...
I think itīs an unanswerable question though...
Do you know the movies "Matrix" and "The Truman Show" ?

The question of a philosophy board was brought up some time ago and received a rather muted response. There are philosophy boards on other virtual countries and I think it would be a good idea for S.com,but this thread might be better on the Feedback board where it will be seen by more members.

Who was it that said "I think, therfore I am"? As far as I'm concerned I'm real and I exist. What I find interesting is how every else can prove they're real and not just a figment of my imagination.

If we are in a soap opera, I want a better part!

Students of philosophy will tell you that philosophy is based on logic, not assumptions. This would be a good forum to have. I like the idea a great deal.

I think a philosophy board would be great to share atheistic beliefs, rather than upset the (gullable) religious folks. May i suggest that we start with questioning along the line of 'how can we prove existence/anything? The statement "i think, therefore i am" is interesting but i would like to know in what context it was said before basing my existence on it. The Matrix (film) does pose some interesting and serious questions regarding existence.
